Statement
Different artists gets their inspirations through different places, I like to get my inspirations from people around me, from memories, and photographs. In my art, I would always like to experience something new. But my favorite type of art style will always be detailed and realistic drawings. For this artwork D & P, I got my inspiration from looking through pictures from my childhood. And I came up with the idea of making a double portrait of me and my boyfriend when we were little. The medium I used are colored pencils, this is also the first time I used colored pencils in my art. Because I want to capture the vividness and keeping this piece soft at the same time, using colored pencils can help me create that effect.
