This Too Shall Pass

Green leaves are the symbol of life at its strongest force. Placed on top of images which represent eras of time gone by, we are reminded of the ability of an icon to exist long after their time. The time in which Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany’s broke the box office is long gone, but the strength with which Audrey Hepburn commands your attention is not. This series layers together life and death to show how they can both exist at the same time. From a Dia De Los Muertos inspired skull painting, to a self-portrait of myself as I am in the summer of 2020, let this remind you that This Too Shall Pass, but stick around in essence.
