Statement:
Each of these photos are a brief snapshot of a moment that I hope can remind people of the intrinsic value of the natural world. Looking at nature with a loving eye, a term coined by theologian Sallie McFague, requires viewing it as a subject instead of an object.
Whether it is recognizing the shadows water can create or the lines on a bee’s wing, nature can remind of us of the complexity of the world around us.
