Description:
Initially, I took inspiration for my piece from an artist by the name of Piet Mondrian and the use of cubism within his art. In my piece, I wanted to be able to use various shades of blue and several different sizes of triangles in order to mesmerize the viewer into looking at what seems as a never-ending spiral of shapes and color. When I think of a sea, I think of the water specifically and how it flows throughout. The usage of the varying shades and the lines are meant to bring the individual pieces, with each them flowing and connecting to one another, together into one cohesive piece
