Statement
Zoolights: This work represents a memory of me with a friend on December. We visited the Indianapolis zoo with Christmas lights. The colors and energy from this picture was something I wanted to show in a drawing. I used markers to create this piece. 

I created this piece from a family picture I took on December. It was my first time experimenting with Micron pens, but I wanted to highlight the textures of the clothing and create shadows by using crosshatching. My family is very important to me and I wanted to represent our unity by producing this drawing.
