To me this image looks beyond the abstract eye makeup that I was photographing her applying. As I was photographing her she kept applying more and more eye liner, so my photographs of her progressively became more chaotic. I specifically like this photo in the series because I think that the viewer sees deep into her eyes and see the calmness behind them despite the chaotic eyeliner.
